The White Grizzly Lodge

Tucked into a remote valley near the northern tip of Kootenay Lake, deep in BC’s Selkirk Mountains, White Grizzly’s timber-frame lodge is where epic ski days begin and end. Drive-in accessible yet completely removed from the outside world, the lodge hosts a maximum of 12 guests at a time. Expect the warmth of a private mountain retreat: roaring fires, cold drinks, gourmet food, and the kind of easy camaraderie that comes from shared powder days in the backcountry.

WELCOME HOME.

A Slice of Rustic Luxury in the Selkirk Mountains

The lodge is designed around one idea: that after a full day of steep chutes and deep powder, you deserve to feel completely taken care of. The vibe is relaxed and unplugged. Evenings spent by the fire recapping the best turns of the day, a cold beer or a signature cocktail in hand. Sometimes, we go bowling. Sometimes, we just relax in the hot tub. One of the highlights of every trip is the photographer’s nightly slideshow, where the day’s best shots come to life on screen.

THE FOOD - FRESH, LOCAL AND DARN GOOD

White Grizzly’s kitchen team sources fresh, local ingredients from local BC producers and turns them into the kind of meals guests talk about long after the trip ends. Think braised beef short ribs, cedar plank salmon, and free-range chicken. Dietary restrictions and special requests are handled with the same care as everything else at the lodge.

No one leaves the table hungry.
