YOUR BASE IN THE KOOTS
Our cozy, timber-frame lodge is situated in a beautiful, remote spot near the northern tip of Kootenay Lake. The lodge is drive-in and easily accessible, yet you will feel you are in the heart of the Kootenays, close to the beckoning BC backcountry, and far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The vibe is relaxed; a slice of rustic luxury, deep in the Selkirk Mountains.
Evenings are spent sitting around the roaring fire recalling the day’s highlights, playing board games or an acoustic guitar and enjoying the good company of friends, old and new. A guest favourite is the slideshow that our photographer puts on one evening for each trip. The lodge features a spacious lounge area for après ski and dining, a bar serving beer on tap with signature and classic cocktails (non-alcoholic drinks available too!), a boot room, hot-tub, and five large bedrooms, each with ensuite facilities.

THE FOOD - FRESH, LOCAL AND DARN GOOD
Riding hard means building up a big appetite. Our chefs will make your dining experience almost as good as the skiing, at least that’s what our guests keep telling us. Hearty fare, like braised beef short-ribs, cedar plank salmon and free-range chicken from our local producers are turned into culinary delights by our skilled kitchen staff. Special requests or dietary restrictions? Not a problem. We’ll make sure you get enough calories to charge hard every day you’re here!
