Meadow Creek: Gateway to the Kootenays
Our location in the tiny hamlet of Meadow Creek provides access to some of the best backcountry skiing on the planet. Indeed, our neighbors include several snowcat and heli-ski lodges. The picturesque town of Kaslo is only a 30-min drive away and the mountain town of Nelson and its world-class ski resort, Whitewater, only a 90-minute drive from our lodge. Many of our staff come from these communities, but we welcome others to come work at White Grizzly and experience the Kootenay lifestyle.
Current Employment Opportunities
HOUSEKEEPER (SUMMER)
Location: Meadow Creek, BC
Hours: 24 hrs/week, 3 days per week. The position will run from April 15 – November 15.
About Us: Join our vibrant and enthusiastic lodge team, delivering authentic Kootenay experiences in the Selkirk Mountains. During the summer, we organize camps and rent the lodge via Airbnb.
Job Description:
The Housekeeper at White Grizzly Adventures plays a key role in ensuring the comfort, cleanliness, and overall experience of both guests and staff. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining all buildings on the property in pristine condition—including guest lodges, staff accommodations, and communal areas. The role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications & Values:
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Some outside work including lawn mowing may be required
- Strong teamwork ethic and commitment to upholding our soulful adventure‑driven brand ethos.
What We Offer:
- $23-$25 depending on experience
