A True Kootenay Backcountry Ski Experience
The White Grizzly Peak Experience combines snowcat access and ski touring to remove the limits of both.
THE GOAL IS SIMPLE. SKI THE BEST TERRAIN AVAILABLE, EVERY DAY.
WHAT THIS MEANS
Cat skiing is limited by roads. Ski touring is limited by distance. This removes both.

We ski/ride the best terrain available that day.
When alpine conditions allow, we use touring to access bigger lines and more complex terrain. When storms roll in, we stay in the trees and use the cat to stack efficient laps.

Who This Is For
This is a premium, small-group experience for strong skiers.
YOU WILL GET THE MOST OUT OF IT IF YOU ARE

This is not a fit if you are:
- New to backcountry skiing
- A beginner or lower-intermediate skier
- Looking for purely lift-style cat skiing
- Unwilling to skin short distances

Where you will stay
Our Peak Experience Program is hosted at Wild Bear Lodge, a premium backcountry retreat nestled along the Lardeau River.
- Private cabins with full ensuite bathrooms (double occupancy)
